ALright well the ms seems to have kicked in full force. I am at work early in the morning (6:30am) so I eat most of my meals here (Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack). Well I am not ready to tell my bosses yet, but I am having trouble hiding the illness - I swear today I look green! I want to wait to tell them until after my US on the 8th. ANy ideas to help me hide my tummy troubles?? Oh and it is a small company - 25 of us and we are all close so it is not like I can avoid them.

Thanks ladies!

Thanks - I'll have to get some diet coke and give it a whirl. I'll try anything at this point!

Good morning....I have been fortunate enough not to have extreme MS....but I snack all day typically on fruits and crackers, etc.  Don't let yourself get hungry if you can help it...that's what makes it so much worse....(not sure which surgery you had, but RNY-you empty really fast compared to other surgeries).  I recommend having crackers or apple or something at your nightstand or at least ready when you wake up.  The first thing I do every morning...pee and then put something in my mouth.  Even though you go into work early, I would eat something even if like an apple on the way, is better than waiting until you get there.   I also drink diet ginger ale when I am not up to par.    Hope some of this advise helps.....

Thanks Stacey - I did have RNY. I'll have to try eating something on the way into work. I am sipping on some diet ginerale I found in the back of the fridge here with my name on it - of course it is flat - but better then nothing! lol

s/f lifesavers (peppermint and even wintergreen)...warm tea.  Eat more often, don't get empty.  When I would be empty I felt yucky- though I never considered it morning or day sickness.  So I ate something every hour or 2 even if it was a slice of cheese or 2 crackers.  Hope you feel better soon.  Oh- and gum made me want to barf..it made my mouth water and I had to avoid it until I was probably 10 -12 weeks.

Thanks - I think I have some altoids in my purse - I'll go digging! I'll also try eating more frequently.

Thanks Jen! :)

B6 vitamin is great for morning sickness. You'll notice a difference in a matter of days. Good luck, and I hope this is a sticky bean for you!
